Gas flow measurement
Slováček, Antonín ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis brings a description and realization of new measuring devices which are designed to support student´s laboratory practice of air flow measurement techniques. The new devices and laboratory exercises help students get experience of several methods of measuring which they get to know during mandatory Bachelor's and Master's study programmes. The paper also includes a theoretical background, the knowledge of which is necessary for mastering the issue. Moreover, the paper comprises a literary search of sensors and a market research. The second part of the thesis presents possibilities of the laboratory workplace, and the results of the measurements of the new laboratory devices used for sample laboratory exercises.
Uncertainty of indirect measurement of air flow
Rozsypal, Jakub ; Havlíková, Marie (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
This semestral project deals with the measurement uncertainties, especially with regard to indirect measurements. There are basic information about the issue. Then there is theoretically analyzed and practically implemented calculate the uncertainty volumetric air flow speed multiple hole probe Annubar 485 in two ways. The first way is to calculate the uncertainty of the classical method and the second method is the determination of uncertainty using Monte Carlo methods.
Design of device for determination of airflow in the channel with various crossection
Kuběnová, Karolína ; Vlach, Radek (referee) ; Musil, Filip (advisor)
The aim of the final work was to design and build a flow meter based on a pressure differential for measuring the air flow in a closed tube of constant cross section. The first part deals with the research part, which forms an introduction to the issue of flow and a list of commercially used flow meters. The practical part deals with the design and implementation of a differential flow meter and its comparison with the flow meter VPT-100.
Measurement of the fans characteristic
Coufalík, Martin ; Štětina, Josef (referee) ; Katolický, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis discusses a fan characteristics and their measurement. The aim of this thesis is to compare the results of measurements, which were done in certified laboratory with results of measurements done in alternative measuring stands. In first part of the thesis are described the basic types of fans and inclusion fans in turbo–machines. Furthermore, the thesis deals with a particular fan, which is part of the combustion system of condensing boiler. This fan is also the object of measurement in practical measurements, which were measured as a part of this thesis. This practical part of the thesis includes also analysis of test track, the measurement procedure and all calculations according to ISO ČSN 5801. At first were carried out measurement in certified laboratory and then in three different measuring stands. In conclusion were these results compared with optimal results.
Measurement of gas flow rates
Hniličková, Veronika ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
This bachelors thesis is about options in a gas volume measurement, it's division and engineering solution of selected types of a gas volume indicators. A thesis is about analysis of measurement methods too. Finally I compare a gas volume measuring indicators, it's usage and functionality in working practicles.

Electromagnetic Flowmeter
Kulenda, Vít ; Uher, Miroslav (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor thesis describe elementary principle of electromagnetic flowmeter. It contain information about their attributes, construction, montage and using. Problem of this flowmeter are explained, which can appear during their using and building. Own constrution of electromagnetic flowmeter are part of thesis, where procedure of desing electronic circuits are decribed. In the end reports and graphs are published. Because this flowmeter are intended for laboratory, construction of vessels are contained too.
